COVID-19 and Weather

                    COVID-19 and Weather

How has the weather has impacted COVID-19?

Recently, studies have come out about the effect on COVID-19 from weather and if the effect could be large. For example, in the spring, people were thinking that in the summer, the virus would be less present because the UV rays would kill it. This turned out to be not true and masks were put in place to protect. Fast forward and we still have the same question: will the winter spread it more, like the flu? The answer is no. The virus needs to survive through contact and not surfaces. So next time your out, wear a mask and social distance!

Stay Safe!
